250+ professional development modules

A comprehensive online training library available to all substitute personnel throughout the school year, covering classroom skills, safety updates, and instructional best practices.

Semi-annual classroom management refreshers

Twice a year, substitutes complete refresher training that reinforces classroom leadership skills and addresses emerging challenges in educational environments.

Annual substitute kickoff meetings

Before each school year, StaffEZ coordinates orientation meetings where district leaders communicate expectations, review policies, and connect directly with substitute personnel.

Monthly substitute newsletters

Each partner district receives a monthly newsletter for substitutes with policy reminders, school calendar highlights, recognition of outstanding educators, and high-demand day announcements.

Quality assurance & corrective action
When something goes wrong, we handle it immediately — with full transparency.
Your administrators always retain the authority to request removal of any substitute, for any reason. Here's our structured process for performance concerns.
1

Immediate suspension upon report

The moment a corrective action is reported, the employee is suspended pending review. All scheduled assignments are removed and reassigned. No exceptions.

2

Full review in cooperation with district

StaffEZ conducts a thorough investigation with assistance from district personnel. All investigation is conducted with full transparency. A determination is made: retraining, suspension, building removal, district removal, or termination.

3

Documented retraining (if applicable)

If retraining is selected, a StaffEZ Account Director conducts a 1-on-1 session covering the infraction, corrective behavior, and relevant policy. The employee signs documentation acknowledging any future violation will result in termination. The district receives all documentation.

The bottom line

Zero formal complaints in five years across all districts. That's not because problems never arise — it's because we handle them immediately, transparently, and with the seriousness they deserve. Your district maintains complete control over who serves in your buildings, and our corrective action process ensures that concerns are addressed before they become patterns.

Your classrooms deserve substitutes who are truly prepared.
